Later that same day...oh my gravy is it hot here. It's 8:06 pm and it is 91 degrees. I am hanging out in the lobby. Today I wanted to come home. I miss everyone so much, home sickness is setting in.
I found a two bead shops just one door apart. One has amazing stones from Afghanistan, serpentine, lapis, roman glass, tourmaline, etc. the prices are amazing at least 50% less. The other has high end treasures. I picked up a few goodies and hopefully will be able to order from them in the future. (Sandy you would love some of this stuff).
You won't believe how much my lunch was today. Okay I'll tell you $1.10, a big bowl of ramen soup and bottled water. I had Hagaan Daz ice cream (Macadamia nut) for desert, now that cost $4 for 100ml, go figure.
I would love to hear from all of you. Please drop me a comment.

ReplyDeleteWhen we're used to these cool ocean breezes in B.C. I can imagine that it would be a bit difficult getting used to those hot temperatures. You'll get acclimatized in no time though.
ReplyDeleteThis is a once in a lifetime adventure you're on... and we'll all be here when you get back. So put some cool, loose colourful clothes on, take a deep breath and settle in to experience the rhythm of life in another world. I am jealous I must admit and you are inspiring me to think about finally getting on the road to see some of this big beautiful world myself.
can't wait to hear more...
Sandy
Hi Camellia,it's so great to hear that you are well. I was worried about you when I heard of the State of Emergency in Bankok. Sounds like you're enjoying your travels and truly experiencing Thailand. I miss you too and on Wednesday I didn't know waht to do with myself. I missed the yoga class and of course the special Camellia 'touch'. Love reading about your experiences so please keep writting. Be well my friend.
