Hello the all:
This trip has been so much more than I had anticipated. Lots of adjusting and learning. I have met some amazing people here and will keep these friends for years to come. I am learning to lead more with my heart and give my little head a break, not worry so much about how my life will unfold.
I will be back but next time I will come on my own. I have discovered my desire to travel solo so I can really experience a place and the people. Never thought I would be saying that.
Here are some odds and ends about Thailand:
They love their Nescafe, when you ask for iced coffee what you get is Nescafe, sweetened condensed milk and sugar mixed together then poured over milk. It is quite yummy, much like a milkshake, I don't have them too often.
Mango shakes are amazing, if I don't get one every few days I go through withdrawal.
Ice cream sandwiches are ice cream and peanuts between two slices of white bread.
They think we are nuts when we don't want a ride to get somewhere, we just walk.
We went up the mountain to the Buddhist temple in the sky. Absolutely lovely and calming. We climbed up 360 stairs, I need to work on my cardo when I return.
A one litre bottle of water costs .33 cents and my favourite Ritter chocolate bar costs $3.00. The cost of things here is very curious.
We had a Gecko come visit the other day, just sat up on the curtain and chittered away. I think that's a good luck sign, isn't it?
They love Karaoke, they even do it at lunch. No I have not tried it yet. Mary won't let me. HAHAHA
The export business that I have mentioned is taking on a life of it's own. I have named it Ohmspace.com the focus is on yoga treasures to enhance your home and personal yoga practice. We have a long list of beautifully hand crafted items that will be offered on an online store.
The most amazing of these treasures are silk prayer rugs (I call them magic carpets) from Kashmir that are one-of-a-kind. I hope to bring one home.
I can't wait to see all of you. Good bye for now.

Time sure does fly by... did the time go quickly for you? It sounds like you've had some amazing experiences that will stay with you for a lifetime. And perhaps you've released your inner gypsy. But I know you'll be happy to come home too. It's beautiful here now with the trees out in full bloom... and we've had a good stretch of sunny, warm weather. It'll probably feel cool to you though after becoming used to the hot temperatures there. Enjoy the rest of your time away and have a safe journey home.

HI Camellia, well the whole bead show is going on here. I am sure it pales in comparison to what you are seeing. I didn't really buy any beads and I too learned something today. As much as I love a sparkly, amazingly cut stone, I am a casual girl and I make jewellery for other casual girls. I just can't deal with a whole strand of brios! I am glad you are having fun. ZTHr ritter's are 2.60 here so the difference isn't to bad if you can buy enough water to even out the difference.
